My stay at The Scott Resort & Spa was a good experience, thanks to the beautiful ambiance and friendly staff. I particularly enjoyed the luxurious pool area and the amazing food at the Canal Club. However, I encountered some wait times at the restaurant, which made meals take longer than expected. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway, and the spa services added a wonderful touch to my experience.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a peaceful view that was perfect for morning coffee. However, the lighting could have been brighter.

The staff were really good and made me feel so welcome, especially Doug, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Though some service wait times were noticeable during meals, the overall level of care was commendable.

I loved the food options at the Canal Club, with reasonably priced and delicious meals. However, I did experience a longer than desired wait for food, which was a bit frustrating.

6.4/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay. While I appreciated the aesthetic remodel and found several staff members friendly, there were notable drawbacks, including a long wait for check-in and a lack of music options in the room. Additionally, I encountered issues with the dining experience that weren't up to par.

Rooms

The rooms were comfortable and spacious, but nothing luxurious stood out. I did notice some noise issues from above and a loud gutter outside my window that affected my sleep.
Service
6.0
While some staff members were friendly and attentive, my check-in process was frustrating, and the response to my needs was a bit lacking. They didn’t offer umbrellas for the rain, which made my arrival more difficult.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent, providing easy access to surrounding attractions and dining options. I enjoyed the beautiful lobby and the overall ambiance of the hotel.
Dining
6.0
I found the dining options at the Canal Club to be great in terms of atmosphere, but disappointing in quality. My drinks were overpriced given the quantity and taste, which left me wanting more.
Facilities

The facilities were generally nice, but the workout room felt cramped with some broken equipment. The pool area, while beautiful, could get crowded quickly.

5.0/10

I enjoyed my stay at The Scott Resort & Spa, with its beautiful grounds and convenient location. While the service was generally friendly, I did notice some inconsistencies, like the time it took for responses and a few things that could use more attention, like the rough towels. The pool area was a highlight, but improvements are needed in room upkeep and comfort, especially related to the bed and shower.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious, but needed more pillows for comfort, especially for lounging. Also, the shower door design needs revisiting since water spilled onto the floor while I showered.
Service
6.0
Some staff members were friendly and accommodating, like the shuttle driver Shawn who provided helpful tips, but many interactions felt indifferent, leaving me hesitant to ask questions.
Location
8.0
The location is fantastic, allowing easy walks to shopping and dining in Old Town Scottsdale. The vibrant atmosphere outside countered the current construction noise around the area.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast at the hotel restaurant had excellent options, and the food overall was a highlight. A bit more coffee availability in the lobby would have been appreciated, especially in the early mornings.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area was lovely, though it could have been cleaner. I noticed that the beach section needed tidying from the previous day’s activities, and the hot tub wasn’t heated.
